DENVER — This was supposed to be the kid quarterback thrown into the deep end of shark-infested waters, it was supposed to feel like Jaxson Dart Against The World with a howling sea of orange delighting in his comeuppance.

Sometimes it is better to be lucky and good — and Jaxson Dart was both.

For 55 minutes, Jaxson Dart was beating The World.

And then he made the rookie mistake, a grievous interception, that allowed The World and the Broncos, once down 26-8, to take an improbable 30-26 lead and eventually a 33-32 win.
