Doug Martin, former Buccaneers running back, dead at 36

Doug Martin, a former Pro Bowl running back for the Buccaneers, has died, his family announced.

He was 36.

Martin played seven years in the NFL — six with Tampa Bay and one with the Raiders — appearing in 84 games in the league and recording 5,356 yards and 30 touchdowns.

He was a two-time Pro Bowler during the course of his career.
