Kim Kardashian rocks horrifying face mask to Academy Museum Gala 2025

Halloween came early for Kim Kardashian.

The Skims co-founder attended the star-studded Academy Museum Gala 2025 Saturday night and stunned fans with her look.

Kardashian paired a nude-colored, face-obscuring mask with a strapless, corseted Maison Margiela gown that featured draped sleeves that attached to the hem of the dress.

The “Kardashians” star joked about her incognito look while getting the “final touches” from her makeup artist, Mario Dedivanoic.

“Mario, do I look OK? The make-up?” she said in the clip Dedivanoic shared to his Instagram Stories.

Dedivanoic jokingly replied, “Your make-up looks amazing, yes.”

Kardashian, 44, quipped, “It’s good? All that hard work, guys.”

Several fans took to X to share their disdain for the mom of four‘s look.

“I KNOW NORTH never approved this!!” tweeted one user, referring to the reality star’s 12-year-old daughter, North West.

“Nothing to look at here….She completely missed the assignment,” added another.

“People who like this, seriously what is wrong with you? Bring this attention seeker to the psych ward please. Nothing normal about it,” claimed a third netizen.

“She tries so hard to be relevant in fashion but her looks are always misses,” commented a fourth person.

Other X users claimed Kardashian mimicked her ex-husband Kanye West’s style with the face mask.

“You can still see the Kanye in her,” said one fan.

“She misses Kanye I see… Because this is ridiculous,” added another.

Kardashian previously wore a full face mask while attending the Met Gala in 2021.

At the time, the Hulu star channeled her then-husband, West, wearing an all-black Balenciaga outfit that featured a tunic-length T-shirt, bodysuit, elbow-length gloves and “Pantaleggings” with built-in high heels.

That September, the “American Horror Story” actress covered her entire face and body in a bondage-inspired Balenciaga outfit while walking in New York City.
