Taylor Swift wears Oscar de la Renta dress at Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s wedding

Who said flying solo to your friend’s wedding can’t be fun?

Today, Selena Gomez shared a video from her wedding day in which Taylor Swift looks elated, taking mirror selfies with the bride before she walked down the aisle to marry music producer Benny Blanco.

Swift sits by Gomez’s side inside the Santa Barbara venue, wearing a gorgeous amber tulle cocktail dress by Oscar de la Renta covered in sequins, floral appliqués and feather embroidery.

She flew to California to support the bride-to-be, just days before her highly anticipated 12th album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” was scheduled to drop on Oct. 3.

While Swift’s old mine brilliant-cut engagement ring was present and accounted for, her fiancé, Travis Kelce, stayed home in Kansas City to prepare for the next day’s big game against the Baltimore Ravens.

They won, by the way.

Gomez, 33, and Swift, 35, have been friends for over 15 years and have remained close despite the challenges and busy schedules that come with their demanding careers.

“In honor of SHOWGIRL .. blessed to have you by my side almost 20 years later gator! I love you @taylorswift forever and always,” Gomez captioned her post on Instagram, shared today.

The singers first met in 2008 when they were each seeing a Jonas brother — Selena dated Nick on and off for two years, while Taylor and Joe spent only a few months together.

Although their respective romantic relationships didn’t last, the friendship between the two chart-topping singers has endured.

Gomez and Swift have celebrated each other’s birthdays and professional triumphs over the years. And when the Rare Beauty mogul announced her engagement on Instagram last December, the “Love Story” singer was eager to share in the excitement.

“Yes I will be the flower girl,” Swift commented at the time.

No matter what role she played inside the private and highly secured venue, it’s clear that these two superstars have a genuine bond.

Lucky for us, Gomez is sure to return the favor as Swift embraces her fiancée era this year, with wedding planning presumably getting underway now that the superstar’s highly anticipated album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” has officially arrived.
