The former reality star was stopped by the Goose Creek Police Department (GCPD) in South Carolina just after 10 p.m. local time on May 20, 2024, according to a police report obtained by PEOPLE at the time.

One of the responding officers told a colleague that Dennis was “possibly impaired” upon stopping her, and another officer wrote in the report that she “had glossy eyes and an odor of alcohol coming from her.” She was then arrested for driving under the influence.

This isn’t the first time the TV personality has had a brush with the law in recent years.

In October 2023, a vehicle registered in Dennis’ name was involved in an alleged hit-and-run incident in South Carolina, PEOPLE confirmed at the time.

The SUV struck a school resource officer directing traffic in front of Whitesville Elementary School, Lance Corporal Nick Pye of the South Carolina Highway Patrol told PEOPLE.

The injured officer received medical attention on site.

The vehicle, which “did not stop at the scene of the collision,” was later located at Dennis’ address.

A source told PEOPLE that the star — who confirmed her departure from the Bravo show after eight seasons in January 2023 — was involved in the alleged incident, though the South Carolina Highway Patrol did not confirm who was driving the car
