Blake Lively is making a small show of support for Taylor Swift‘s new album amid the pair’s reported falling out.

The It Ends With Us actress, 38, liked Swift’s Instagram post celebrating the midnight release of her album The Life of a Showgirl.

In the post, Swift, 35, wrote: “I can’t tell you how proud I am to share this with you, an album that just feels so right.”

“A forever thank you goes out to my mentors and friends Max and Shellback for helping me paint this self portrait,” Swift continued, alongside her sexy, showgirl-inspired photoshoot to promote the record. “If you thought the big show was wild, perhaps you should come and take a look behind the curtain… The Life of a Showgirl is out now.”

The pop superstar dropped her 12th album on Friday, Oct. 3.

After Swift teased the track list in August, fans theorized on social media — based solely on the song title — that “Ruin the Friendship” would be about her reported strained bond with Lively. (The song is not about the pair’s friendship, and instead explores the subjects of unrequited love and regret while telling the story of a high school crush with a tragic ending.)

A source told PEOPLE in August that the longtime friends “aren’t speaking” amid the actress’ ongoing lawsuit with It Ends with Us costar Justin Baldoni.

Swift has come up several times during the actress’ legal war with Baldoni, 41. The superstar’s name was first brought into the mix when Baldoni’s legal team alleged that Swift had pressured him to accept Lively’s rewrites on the movie in a complaint Baldoni filed in January that has since been dismissed.

Later, in May, Baldoni’s legal team dropped the subpoena they’d issued to Swift. Swift’s rep claimed the subpoena was “designed to use Taylor Swift’s name to draw public interest by creating tabloid clickbait instead of focusing on the facts of the case.”

Another insider added that while Swift and Lively are “not no longer friends,” they are “taking some space” from each other.

The singer and actress first connected in 2015 and have been close since then. Swift is a godparent to Lively’s children with husband Ryan Reynolds.

Swift first announced her 12th studio album at 12:12 am on Aug. 12, just hours after a string of cryptic posts sent fans down an Easter egg chase and led to rumors of a major announcement.

The details fans were waiting for finally arrived during her appearance on New Heights, the podcast hosted by her fiancée Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce, when Swift revealed that The Life of a Showgirl would be released in October.
