Ricky Martin Daringly Avoids Wardrobe Malfunction in New Shirtless Selfie

Ricky Martin is baring almost everything on Instagram.

The “She Bangs” singer, 53, posted a steamy, shirtless picture to his Instagram Stories on Tuesday, Sept. 30. 

In the near-naked photo, Martin flashed a flirty grin as he looked at his phone for a mirror selfie in what appeared to be a large bathroom. Tiled walls and a glass door with a long handle can be seen in the background. 

As for the “Livin’ La Vida Loca” hitmaker, he ditched all visible clothing and opted to show off several of his tattoos — and just about all of his muscles!

His photo stopped just above his groin area to reveal deep, V-cut definitions below his abs. 

“Push” by Connor Price and Nic D was Martin’s go-to soundtrack for the ultra-revealing snap.

The multi-award-winning Puerto Rican singer, songwriter and actor is no stranger to showing some skin, even when he doesn’t always intend to!

Earlier this month, Martin documented how he was able to turn his day around ahead of the MTV VMAs 2025 and his Latin Icon Medley when he suffered a “wardrobe malfunction” hours before his performance.

“Lots of laughter, friends and even a little wardrobe malfunction (I can sew if need be by the way 😆) lots of Make Up and grooming and friends around! it’s gonna be a very special day,” the “La Copa de la Vida” singer captioned a Sept. 7 Instagram carousel.

Martin’s post began with a photo of him sitting shirtless on a sofa as he hand-sewed the top of his pants as sunlight beamed down on his skin. 

The second snap was an up-close picture of him holding the threaded needle as he made sure his bottoms were perfectly stitched for the stage. 

“Thank you @danielavesco for documenting it all this morning,” Martin’s caption continued. 

Additional photos showed Martin in a chair getting his hair trimmed by a barber, making a funny face while still fixing his pants and having a pre-show meal. 

In March, Martin visited Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, where he discussed his romantic style and opened up about what’s going on in his DMs.

During a “Pillow Talk” segment, Martin said he could best be described as someone who is “Generous, caring, passionate.”

Later in the episode, the “Nobody Wants to Be Lonely” singer discussed his foot fetish, which he previously told GQ about in a February interview.

“You have no idea,” Martin said, alluding to the influx of foot pics in his DMs following his fetish reveal. “It’s like I greenlit everybody. All the time. That’s all I get now, and I’m really happy about it. Some are kind of weird, so I’m like, ‘Whoa, no.'”

When Cohen, 57, assumed his guest’s DMs were “lit,” the singer replied, “Yeah, yeah. I’m a single man — I can say it!”
