  • Comedian Ben Jones shares a TikTok guide to scoring the ultimate Taco Bell meal for under $20
  • He recommends the Supreme Luxe Box with upgrades plus add-ons for variety and value
  • Final order includes multiple tacos, burritos, nachos, a drink and dessert for about $14.67 before tax

Taco Bell fans received a gift from a dedicated customer who calculated the best bundle deal for under $20.

TikToker and comedian Ben Jones shared the instructional video on Tuesday, Sept. 16, where he talked viewers through his order step-by-step using the Taco Ball app.

“I developed my system through trial and error after many late nights of getting done from doing stand-up shows and having a huge appetite with limited cash,” Jones exclusively told PEOPLE. “I eventually fine-tuned it into the miracle feast that it is…and a big thanks to Taco Bell for being one of the few fast food chains still offering value. I feel like they’ve always had my (big) back.”

Jones begins his video by saying, “I will show you how to eat at Taco Bell with complete, reckless abandon,” before stating what he called an unspoken agreement amongst all enthusiasts: “At the end of the day, Taco Bell is Taco Bell. So you can kind of get, just whatever.”

Jones began using the app because he said it has the cheaper deals, is easy to use, and, like other fast food apps, offers rewards for active users. He then suggested starting with a Supreme Luxe Box, which comes with a medium-sized fountain drink, a Chicken Chalupa Supreme, a burrito, a crunchy taco and chips with cheese sauce.

“Stay away from the $9.00 Discovery Luxe Box,” said Jones, of the combo option that includes two cheesy chalupas, a bean and rice burrito, chips and cheese sauce and a medium fountain drink. “It’s got a promotional item, it’s whatever they’re trying to hawk at that point and time. It’s not that great of a deal.”

The comic also noted that while the Classic Luxe Box, which includes a burrito, a crunchy taco, cinnamon twists and a medium fountain drink, is a good deal, it’s just not enough food to start a satisfying enough haul.

Jones also customized the Supreme Luxe Box by switching the medium drink to a large — “Get a Baja Blast, we’re at Taco Bell. Act like you’ve been here before,” he reminded TikTokers — and also upgraded the chips and cheese sauce to cinnamon twists. With those upgrades, Jones calculated only spent $7.30 so far.

He then pivoted to the Cravings tab of the app and added a Chicken Enchilada and a loaded nachos with cheese sauce. “The Loaded Beef Nachos are a great deal,” explained Jones, “It’s like half the price of a Nachos BellGrande and it’s almost as much food. It’s a nice variety of stuff.”

After checking the cost at this point ($12.78), Jones continued to add to the order another crunchy taco, which brought the final cost to $14.67 before tax.

“We’re getting nachos, a chicken enchilada burrito, a crunchy taco, an additional taco in the Supreme Luxe Box, a drink, a Beefy 5 Layer Burrito, a Chicken Chalupa Supreme and a little cinnamon twist for dessert,” said Jones.

Before ending the breakdown, Jones also reminded viewers to check the Rewards tab in the app before checking out for a potential surprise reward, such as a Doritos Locos Taco or Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes, he guessed.

Prices may vary depending on location, but overall, the amount of food customers can receive is a great deal and hits every section of the Taco Bell menu, making for the perfect food haul.
