On Monday, Sept. 29, PEOPLE confirmed the Oscar-winning actress, 58, and the Grammy-winning country star, 57, had separated after two decades together.
One day after news of their split broke, Kidman officially filed for divorce from Urban, PEOPLE confirmed. The couple share two daughters: Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14. (Kidman is also mom to daughter Bella, 32, and son Connor, 30, from her first marriage to Tom Cruise.)
While their family’s home base is in Nashville, the power couple have put down roots in their native Australia, as well as New York City and Los Angeles. Here’s a look at the many properties they’ve collected over the years.

Nearly two years after Kidman and Urban tied the knot in June 2006, the couple purchased their Nashville family home, dubbed the Queen of Northumberland.
The sprawling estate, which they purchased for over $3 million in 2008, has been the couple’s primary home ever since, Architectural Digest and House Beautiful report. The entire property is spread out across several acres and the main house features seven bedrooms. There’s also a home theater, pool, tennis court and a massive hobby room, according to the outlets.
In August, a source close to the family told PEOPLE why Kidman loves Nashville life so much: “Nicole lives full-time in Nashville. She loves the tight-knit community and group of friends that she has built, and it’s the perfect place to raise her children,” the insider said at the time.

After news of Kidman and Urban’s split broke, a source told PEOPLE that the country singer had moved out of their Nashville family home.
“Their lives were moving in different directions, and once he quietly set up his own place, it felt like the writing was on the wall,” a source told PEOPLE of Urban moving out.
“It really hasn’t been a secret in their circles that Keith and Nicole have been living separately for a while now,” the source added. “People close to Keith felt like the split was kind of inevitable.”
Australia Farm

The same year they purchased their Nashville home, the couple bought a rustic farm in Australia.
The serene property, called Bunya Hill, is located in New South Wales and occupies over 100 acres of land, according to AD. The couple reportedly paid between $4 million and $6.5 million for the entire farm.
The estate features a Georgian mansion built in 1878 as the main house, as well as a small guest cottage and plenty of open fields for all the animals.
Fans got a peek inside the farmhouse during Vogue‘s “73 Questions With Nicole Kidman” interview back in 2015.
During the clip, which brought viewers on a tour around the couple’s farm, Kidman revealed she once surprised Urban with a “1976 Mustang” featuring a “big red bow on it,” which she hid in their barn on the property. “He flipped out,” she added of her husband’s reaction to the surprise gift at the time.
When asked what the “coolest” thing about her Australia farm was, she quickly noted that it had to be her “six alpacas.”

According to the Los Angeles Times, Kidman and Urban purchased another home in 2008: a 4,000-square-foot mansion in Beverly Hills.
The pair shelled out a reported $4.7 million for their West Coast abode that boasts five bedrooms and four full bathrooms. It also features expansive windows with views of the canyons, according to the outlet.
In February, the L.A. Times reported that the couple’s Beverly Hills property was targeted in a burglary. According to the outlet, a burglar ransacked the property after smashing a glass door to get in while the couple were not at home.

Kidman and Urban have also purchased properties in the Big Apple, most recently in 2020 with a two-bedroom penthouse in Tribeca. They purchased the ultra-private unit for $3.5 million, according to AD and House Beautiful.
A decade before that purchase, the pair bought a $10 million duplex in Chelsea. The property is spread out across more than 3,000 square feet and features three bedrooms, two terraces and sweeping views of the Hudson River, per AD.

As their Australia farm is located just an hour and a half outside of Sydney, it’s only fitting that the couple would also put down roots in New South Wales’ capital city.
In 2009, they bought a massive penthouse that overlooks the famous Sydney Harbour Bridge for $4 million, according to AD. The duo later added on to their Sydney real estate portfolio in 2012 by purchasing another penthouse in the same building for $7 million, House Beautiful reports.
