Latto Confirms She’s Dating 21 Savage After Longtime Speculation

It’s official: Latto and 21 Savage are an item.
After years of speculation and multiple collaborations, Latto confirmed she’s dating 21 Savage in an interview with TMZ published on Monday, Sept. 29.
The “Big Energy” rapper, 26, caught up with the outlet during an outing in New York City, where she spoke about her fashion before confirming the relationship.

“She’s just a ‘90s Chanel mob wife running through these New York streets, about to go have dinner with my husband,” said Latto, whose real name is Alyssa Michelle Stephens.
The TMZ reporter then asked if she’s “tired” of hearing about rumors of a relationship with 21 Savage, whose real name is Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph. “No,” said Latto. “My man, my man, my man.”
According to Complex, rumors have surrounded the couple since December 2020 — just a few months after their first collaboration, “Pull Up,” was released on Latto’s Queen of da Souf album.
They’ve since also collaborated on 2022’s “Wheelie” from Latto’s 777 album. The same year, 21 Savage spoke about his relationship status in a Clubhouse chat with fans. “I’ve been hot for a long time. I don’t do all the antics and s—. I don’t got a celebrity girlfriend,” he said, per HipHopDX.

In 2023, fans noticed the “Put It on da Floor” rapper got a tattoo behind her ear that appeared to read “Shéyaa,” a.k.a. 21 Savage’s real first name.

During an August 2024 interview with Apple Music, however, Latto opted out of sharing any details about her romantic life. “The internet don’t know a got-damn thing. Let’s start there,” she said, per Complex.
“It ain’t really nobody’s business,” she said. “Like, listen to the music and you’ll know what you need to know.”
Latto’s latest album, Sugar Honey Iced Tea, came out in August 2024. 21 Savage’s most recent project, American Dream, was released in January 2024.
