Benny Blanco’s Stylist Breaks Down His 4 Looks for Wedding to Selena Gomez

Benny Blanco tied the knot with Selena Gomez in style!

According to the music producer’s stylist, Chloé Badawy, Blanco, 37, wore a carefully curated series of four custom looks for his wedding weekend. The couple got married in California on Saturday, Sept. 27, surrounded by family and friends.

In an interview with E! News, Badaway shared that Blanco’s vision for his wedding was “to be classic.” She explained, “He really wanted to look like a grown man marrying the love of his life. You know, I really wanted him to be his best self.”

“The vest was always going to happen,” she continued of his main Ralph Lauren wedding look. “We did a shawl-collar vest — very Clark Gable, very grown-up.”

Badaway said Blanco also had some special accessories.

“Ralph Lauren sewed in vintage cufflinks and studs that we had found into the shirt,” she revealed.

While the cufflinks and studs were a subtle detail, Blanco’s dazzling diamond watch was impossible to miss. “Jacob & Co. made us a custom watch. Baguette-cut diamonds. Thin, dainty, beautiful. I wanted it to look vintage-inspired,” Badaway told E! News, adding, “Every time it sparkled, I was just like, ‘Oh my God, oh my God, the diamonds!’ ”

According to a press release from Jacob & Co., the brand reimagined its famous diamond boutique timepiece exclusively for Blanco, creating a watch that embodies “both celebration and permanence.”

The 18-carat white gold watch — which jewelry expert Julia Hackman Chafé estimated to be worth up to $1 million — features 21.39ct Ashoka-cut diamonds (58 stones) and 1.05ct Ashoka trillion-cut diamonds (four stones).

Blanco paired the watch with a Jacob & Co. diamond and platinum tennis bracelet on his wedding day. The jewelry brand also crafted the groom’s wedding band, which has two sentimental details: the couple’s wedding date engraved on the inside, as well as a pavé ruby and a pavé aquamarine — Gomez and Blanco’s birthstones, respectively.

As for Blanco’s other looks for the weekend, Badaway told E! News that Levi’s created a custom “full denim” beaded ensemble for the groom. “It was like disco cowboy hot,” she said of the vibe.

He also wore custom Lucchese boots that contained a sweet surprise from his bride.

“Selena wrote a special note inside his boots,” Badaway shared. “And I was like, ‘You’re going to have these boots forever. Your children will see these boots. Like, let’s do it!’ ”

In addition to a fashion spectacle, Blanco and Gomez’s wedding was a star-studded affair, as a number of their famous friends came to support them on their special day. The guest list included Steve Martin, Martin Short, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Finneas, SZA, Camila Cabello, Paris Hilton, Paul Rudd, Cara Delevingne, Eric André, Zoe Saldaña and Édgar Ramírez.

A source close to the couple told PEOPLE that the wedding celebration was a day to remember for the newlyweds and their guests.

“Everyone was letting loose and celebrating them well into the night. The vibe was so much fun,” the insider said. “They were glowing all night, and both Selena and Benny couldn’t stop smiling. There was so much love in the room.”

“The ceremony moved guests to tears. They wrote their own vows, which were both funny and sentimental,” the source added.
