Luanna Araújo, a Brazilian fashion influencer, was killed on her birthday in a three-way highway collision on Sept. 26. She was 29.
At around 1:20 a.m. on the BR-116 Brazilian highway, a car carrying Araújo, her fiancé Korbinian Andreas Dengler, 36, and their friend Herbson Nunes Negrão, 24, collided with two other trucks, killing all three passengers inside, reported Brazilian news outlet g1.
One of the truck drivers was recovered from the wreckage by the fire department and was rushed to the hospital in critical condition; the other truck driver sustained minor injuries, per g1.

Araújo — who had over 92,000 followers on Instagram — was known on the platform for her fashion and lifestyle content, sharing makeup tips and modelling videos.
According to g1, authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.
Following the news of Araújo’s death, Colégio Santa Sofia, where she had attended as a student, released a statement in Portuguese remembering the late creator.
“Colégio Santa Sofia expresses its deepest condolences for the passing of Luanna Araújo, a former student of our institution and daughter of our beloved sports coordinator, Cristiano Melo,” the school posted on Instagram. “We join in prayer, asking God to comfort the hearts of the family and all who shared in Luanna’s life and friendship. In this time of grief, we reaffirm our solidarity and closeness to Cristiano and his family, in the hope of faith and the certainty of eternal life.”
