Brooks Nader Reveals If She’s Watching ‘DWTS’ Season 34 (Exclusive)

Brooks Nader revealed whether she’s watching season 34 of Dancing with the Stars — and shared some pearls of wisdom with the show’s current contestants.

The model and reality star caught up with PEOPLE exclusively at the Glenfiddich X Aston Martin Formula One Limited Edition Launch Event in New York City on Wednesday, Sept. 24, where she shared that she “hasn’t actually tuned in” to season 34 of the popular dance competition show.

She adds, “There are so many great dancers this season. I’m friends with a couple of people, like Whitney [Leavitt] from Mormon Wives — I love her. I saw a TikTok clip of her; she did so well. So I’m proud of her.”

As to her advice for the current cast? 

“I would say, just soak it all in and try to savor every moment, because you never know when you’re gonna go home and you never know when it’s going to be your last episode,” she says.

She explains, “[When] I got kicked off, my trailer was packed up — they give you a framed photo of you and your partner, and they’re like, ‘See ya.’ “

“I was like, ‘Oh my God, I just got fired.’ So it happened in the blink of an eye. Your stuff is already packed by the time you get to your trailer. Not to be morbid or scary, but just soak in every moment,” she continues.

Nader appeared on season 33 of the show in 2024, and she finished in ninth place. She also famously struck up a romance with her then dance partner, Gleb Savchenko, 42. The pair began dating in September 2024 and went their separate ways in April.

The former Sports Illustrated model is now focused on her current reality show, Love Thy Nader, which follows Nader and her three sisters as they “chase their dreams in New York City’s SoHo, balancing fashion careers and sisterhood far from their bayou roots,” per the show’s IMDb page. 

Nader tells PEOPLE that she and her siblings have been enjoying watching the episodes as they roll out, and she feels like she “notices new things” about situations and dynamics during each viewing.

“Like, ‘I never noticed this,’ or ‘Did I miss that whole episode?’ And then I get tagged on TikTok, and I’m like, ‘What episode is that?’ […] But it’s so much fun just seeing people’s reactions and seeing all the girlies relating,” she says.

She also teased “some really fun new projects,” telling PEOPLE, “I’m getting into a whole new phase in my life — modeling, entrepreneurship, starting new businesses with my sisters and obviously filming our show. We have a lot ahead, and we’re excited to share it with people.”
