The search for love on national television has led to more than just proposals and dramatic breakups — it’s also created real families.
Trista and Ryan Sutter, the franchise’s first successful couple, set the tone with their 2003 televised wedding and are now parents to two children, Maxwell and Blakesley.
“They are why I do what I do. They are why we live where we now live,” Trista told fans on Instagram in 2023, reflecting on raising her children, who are now teenagers. More recent couples like Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon have followed suit, welcoming two sons, Dawson and Hayden.
Other alums — from Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert, to Raven Gates and Adam Gottschalk — have let fans in on their parenting journeys as well, proving that paradise can last beyond the beach. Even private contestants like Ben Higgins have opened up about parenting.
Whether they were part of the flagship show or found love on one of the many spinoffs, these stars are navigating a new kind of role: parenthood.
Here’s a closer look at the babies, toddlers and growing families at the heart of Bachelor Nation’s next generation.

Trista and Ryan remain Bachelor royalty as the franchise’s first successful couple. After falling in love during the inaugural season of The Bachelorette in 2003, they tied the knot later that year and now share two teenage children, Maxwell (born in 2007) and Blakesley (born in 2009).
The family currently lives in Colorado, where Trista has embraced life as a stay-at-home mom.
“They’re my representation of who I am and who I want them to be. And I just want to give them as much as I can at this point in their life to set them up to be successful, caring, sympathetic, empathetic, smart, young people,” Ryan explained on The Most Dramatic Podcast Ever with Chris Harrison in June 2024.
On Mother’s Day 2025, Trista gushed about motherhood and her children, sharing a sweet Instagram tribute to her kids.
“Motherhood is hard. It’s the best thing to ever happen to me and I will always be beyond greatful,” she shared in the post.

Sean and Catherine Lowe fell in love on season 17 of The Bachelor and married in January 2014.
Since then, the duo have welcomed three children: sons Samuel Thomas (born in 2016), Isaiah Hendrix (born in 2018) and daughter Mia Mejia (born in 2019). Sean told PEOPLE in 2020 how proud he was to be a father, noting that his goal with Catherine is “to fill our home with laughter and love, and we do that every day.”
The couple frequently open the door to their family life via social media. On Mother’s Day 2024, Catherine wrote on Instagram, “Spoiled by the gang today 🥰,” referring to handmade cards from their kids, which were displayed in the accompanying videos.
Jason and Molly Mesnick’s 2 Children

Jason and Molly Mesnick first captured Bachelor Nation’s attention during the dramatic finale of The Bachelor season 13 — when he infamously reconsidered his initial choice and chose Molly, leading to a public reconciliation and surprise engagement.
The couple married in February 2010 in a televised ceremony and embarked on a quieter life in Kirkland, Wash.
In March 2013, they welcomed their daughter Riley, revealing her arrival exclusively to PEOPLE. Jason humorously noted, “she has a full head of hair — probably more than I’ll have in the next few years,” while praising Molly’s devotion, noting “her eyes do not come off of her” when holding Riley.
In addition to Riley, the Mesnicks are also parents to Jason’s son Ty, who was born in 2005, during Jason’s first marriage to Hilary Buckholz-Monrean.

Roper and Tolbert’s love story began on the franchise’s beloved spinoff, Bachelor in Paradise, and has grown into a busy family life in Kansas.
Since marrying in 2016, they’ve welcomed three children: daughter Emerson (born in 2017), son Brooks (born in 2019) and son Reed (born in 2020).
The couple have been candid about both the joy and difficulty of raising three kids so close in age. Jade opened up to Today about experiencing postpartum PTSD after Brooks’ traumatic birth in her bedroom closet.
She shared that early motherhood felt overwhelming and “so isolating” until she sought help and treatment.
The family also faced the heartbreak of a miscarriage in August 2023. Jade honored her late son, whose name was Beau, on his due date in January 2024, explaining in an Instagram post that Tanner bought her flowers and they celebrated with a cake.
In August 2025, Jade celebrated the back-to-school season with a smiley photo of her children.
“These sweet kids are going to do amazing things this year!! I’m so proud of them, and now am going to go back to crying in my car. 😭🤣,” she wrote on Instagram.

Gates and Gottschalk, who also began their relationship on Bachelor in Paradise season 4 in 2017, have grown their family since tying the knot in April 2021.
The couple reside in Dallas and have welcomed two sons, Gates (born in January 2022) and Max (born in July 2023).
Known for their thoughtful approach to marriage, Gates revealed to PEOPLE in 2022 that they pursued pre‑marital, interfaith and family counseling before having children.
“We have done every sort of therapy you can think of. Not because we needed it, we did it preventatively,” she said.
When they welcomed Max a few years later, Raven shared the goals she had for her boys. “My prayer for my sons have been that they have an unbreakable bond & each having their own separate God Given gifts to give to the world. If the last few days are any indication of what the future holds, then my prayers have already been answered 🤍,” Raven wrote on Instagram.

Evan Bass and Carly Waddell, who fell head-over-heels for each other during Bachelor in Paradise season 3, married in June 2017 with a televised wedding in Mexico.
They went on to have two children together, a daughter named Isabella (born in February 2018) and a son named Charles (born in November 2019). The couple also parented Bass’ three children from a previous marriage.
After three years of marriage, Bass and Waddell announced their separation in December 2020. In a joint statement, they said they would “always cherish [their] time together” and asked fans to respect their privacy during the transition.
Waddell later shared in an emotional YouTube video that they “tried for a really long time to make it work.” She said they also “focused a lot more on the kids than ourselves,” reflecting on the effort they put into co-parenting.
Now, the mom of two is engaged to Todd Allen Tressler.

Iaconetti and Haibon share one of the most beloved love stories in Bachelor memory. Their relationship flourished after several near-misses on Bachelor in Paradise, leading them to date officially in May 2018.
At the time, Haibon reflected on their connection to PEOPLE, saying, “There’s just this undeniable, magnetic force between the two of us that just is indescribable … love conquered.” The couple got engaged that summer and married in August 2019 at a Rhode Island wedding attended by many fellow Bachelor alumni.
Their family began with the arrival of their first son, Dawson, in January 2022. In July 2024, Iaconetti and Haibon welcomed their second son, Hayden, bonding over their naming inspiration.
“We joked about naming him Anakin … I’m a big Star Wars fan … That sparked the idea for the name Hayden”, the couple told PEOPLE, adding that the new baby was “healthy” and described Dawson’s gentle affection for his brother as “as precious as we always imagined.”

Higgins captured America’s hearts on The Bachelor in 2016. Though his relationship with Lauren Bushnell didn’t last, he went on to marry his longtime partner Jessica Clarke in November 2021.
In August 2024, the couple announced that Clarke was pregnant with their first child — a baby girl due in February 2025 — and shared an Instagram Reel dubbed “the next chapter of our love story.”
Their daughter, Winona, was born on Feb. 12, 2025.
“She is healthy. @jessclarke_ is doing so well… I don’t yet have words for what just happened,” Ben wrote on Instagram, adding that the nurses and doctors “should be lifted high.”

The pair welcomed their daughter River on Feb. 2, 2024, sharing the happy news on Instagram. “River Rose Viall 2‑2‑2024 named after Natalie’s great grandmother and niece…the best part of life starts now,” they wrote.
The couple married soon after, exchanging vows in April 2024, at Joy’s family farm in Georgia.
In early 2025, Joy shared that she had suffered a second miscarriage, describing it as “the biggest heartbreak of my life,” and revealed that she found solace in holding Viall and their 1-year-old daughter.
