The men informed the fire station crew that a stray cat recently gave birth to five kittens in their garage, and one of the kittens had become stuck in the wheel. That’s when Lieutenant Render, along with firefighters Keogh and Chapman got to work, per the statement.

In the post’s comments section, a man named Karol Bakowski claimed that he was one of the men who brought the kitten to the fire department and provided an update on how the little guy was doing.
“I can say, yes, he [the kitten] is all good and returned to his mom,” Bakowski wrote in his comment, adding, “Later the next day the mom returned for the kittens and took them somewhere safe.”
Bakowski added that the kittens were only in their possession for a short while, and during that time they fed them “kitten formula” and “soft food.”
“That specific cat is called ‘Yoda’ for the way he looked when he was wet. The other 4 siblings have names as well,” he continued.
