Jodie Turner-Smith is taking method dressing to the next level!
The actress, 39, looked stunning at the Tron: Ares Paris photocall at Palais De Tokyo on Sept. 24 and channeled the movie’s futuristic themes with a couture robot dress made from technology through the decades.
The look, which comes from Schiaparelli’s spring/summer 2024 runway collection, featured silver and matrix-green electronic chips and Swarovski crystals that glittered with each flash of the camera. The couture dress included several callbacks to tech and included green CPU boards, full-sized compact discs, old digital cameras, cellphones and calculators, in addition to sparkling jewel-encrusted brooches, chainmail pieces in silver and dangling electric wires.

Turner-Smith completed the look with the lucite Gianvito Rossi Diana heels and accessorized with an oversize choker made of acrylic and Swarovski crystals — which created the illusion of a puffed neckline — threader earrings and a matching minaudière. She was styled by Law Roach for the evening, who shared photos of the look to his Instagram and videos to his Instagram Stories.

Several fans in the comments section gushed over the ornate look, including some celebrities. “It’s COUTURE Look at the tag honey!” Lisa Rinna wrote.
“Definitely giving unconventional materials challenge and I’m living,” another fan wrote, nodding to the popular challenge from Project Runway, and a third user added, “MOTHER WEARING MOTHERBOARD STYLED BY MOTHER!” in all caps.
The actress has been working with Roach in recent weeks and hit the New York Fashion Week circuit in several chic ensembles crafted by the celeb stylist.
On Sept. 13, Turner-Smith wowed in black suit separates to attend Ralph Lauren Fragrances Ralph’s Club New York Celebration.

“My mother was very fashionable, and I grew up looking at her and her attitudes about costume and expression of self through wardrobe,” she told the outlet. “As I’ve said many times, I feel that clothing is costume, but I think that it moves in both directions. On the one hand, the energy that I have inspires the clothes that I wear, and sometimes the clothes that I wear inspire the energy that I have.”
The couture looks, however, are not always paid for out of pocket. “Honestly, I couldn’t actually afford to just buy all of these clothes,” she added. “Do you know what I mean? I’m not a billionaire. Doing what I do gives me privilege and opportunity.”
