Cardi B Nods to Boyfriend Stefon Diggs with Her Outfit on ‘Call Her Daddy’

Cardi B is showing love to her man.

The rapper, 32, paid homage to her boyfriend, Stefon Diggs, with a statement wardrobe piece she wore during her Wednesday, Sept. 23, appearance on Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast.

Cardi sported Diggs’ navy blue New England Patriots jersey, complete with his jersey No. 8 on the front. The “Bodega Baddie” rapper went geek-chic for the look, pairing the sporty item with black-framed readers, a Vivienne Westwood statement pearl choker and a red plaid miniskirt.

During her time on the program, the Grammy winner revealed that she wanted to show some love to Diggs, but in a way that matched her unique style philosophy. “I wanted to do a jersey, but I wanted to do my style,” she told Cooper when asked about her outfit.

She added, “I wanted to show my man, but he’s asleep by this time. He goes to sleep early.”

Cardi’s homage to Diggs comes amid her confirmation in a Sept. 17 interview on CBS Mornings that they are expecting a child together. This will be Cardi’s fourth child.

“I’m having a baby with my boyfriend, Stefon Diggs,” Cardi told Gayle King during the interview. “I’m happy … I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong, very powerful that I’m doing all this work — but I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby.”

Elsewhere in that interview, Cardi shared intimate details about her relationship with the footballer.

“Me and my man, we’re very supportive of each other. We’re like in the same space in our careers,” she continued. “I feel like we’re really great and one of the best at what we do. And me and him think the same way. ‘Yeah, you’re one of the greatest, but what’s next. What are we doing again? We have to do it again, all the time.’ We’re never, like, comfortable. We just have to keep going at it and that’s just what we are.”

The jersey look is just one of many stylish pregnancy moments to come from Cardi, but her boldest one since the reveal consisted of a skin-baring black lace catsuit that she accessorized with a pearl bra and matching pearl chains around her hips.

The pearl bralette covered the rapper’s chest and featured multiple rows of beads. In addition to the rows of pearls, the bralette also featured a row of chains beneath the cups that had dangling pearls to create a teardrop effect. The pearl belt, meanwhile, cascaded down the sides of her thighs and featured endless rows of pearls in different sizes.
