Influencer Maggie Thurmon Breaks Silence amid Rumored Split from Benson Boone

Influencer Maggie Thurmon has broken her silence amid a rumored split from pop singer Benson Boone.

At the “Beautiful Things” singer’s Sept. 9 concert in Nashville, he told the audience that “sometimes people leave your life,” adding, “it is always hard — always, every single time” — per fan-captured TikTok footage. Fans also noticed that the duo were no longer following each other on Instagram.

TMZ reported two days later that he and Thurmon had split. The influencer had been spotted in the audience of one of Boone’s shows as recently as the week before news of the rumored breakup became public.

In a new TikTok posted on Wednesday, Sept. 24, the influencer, 23, shared a “girls night edition” get-ready-with-me video, trying on a new outfit. She concluded the video by telling her followers, “I am going to go cook dinner with my girls now.”

The content creator also shared a carrousel of photos to Instagram in collaboration with the fashion brand Sézane, showing off the same outfit with the caption, “It rained in LA.”

Thurmon and Boone, 23, first sparked dating rumors in March 2024 when they were spotted together at Elton John’s AIDS Foundation Academy Awards viewing party, debuting their relationship on Instagram three months later. Over the next year, the pair made several public appearances together, attending the Twisters premiere in July 2024 and walking the VMAs red carpet the following September as a couple.

Thurmon also supported Boone at the 2025 Grammys, where he went viral for his showstopping performance, complete with a striptease assisted by Heidi Klum and Nikki Glaser, his skin-tight baby blue jumpsuit and several of his signature flips.

She also stopped by Studio 8H as Boone performed as the musical guest on a May episode of Saturday Night Live — featured in a photo he shared to Instagram after his appearance.

Speaking to PEOPLE in August, Thurmon teased that she would be “going on tour for a bit around the U.S.” throughout the coming fall — the same time Boone was set to travel around North America to promote his latest album, American Heart.
