“Me and her, we just do our thing, we just keep our heads down and work,” he said. “And we’re happy.”
What people say about his personal life is something Brooklyn says he “never” worries about, as “everyone is always going to say rubbish.”
“I just try and do this, play some golf with some friends. It’s good fun,” he shared.
Brooklyn and Nicola, 30, began dating in October 2019 and then made their relationship Instagram official in January 2020. After announcing their engagement in July 2020, they tied the knot during a lavish wedding in Palm Beach, Fla., in April 2022.
Last month, the couple renewed their wedding vows during a ceremony on Saturday, Aug. 2.

“The event is about honoring the love and commitment they’ve built together over the years, and creating a memory that will stay with them forever,” a source close to the couple told PEOPLE.
Brooklyn said while speaking with PEOPLE at the Airbnb Originals Experience he hosted in Los Angeles on Wednesday, Aug. 6, that he and Nicola “just wanted a really beautiful experience — a really cute memory.”
