Jennifer Lawrence’s Uggs Signal the Start of Cozy Season, Get the Look

Jennifer Lawrence got a head start back in August when she wore a pair of plush slippers that looked toasty, comfy, and ready to take on all the pumpkin patches, haunted houses, and festivities that fall has to offer. Her exact shoes were the Ugg Coquette Slippers — the chestnut color and lugged soles are typical tip-offs of the brand.

It’s not a random choice since she’s worn the brand before, and we’re confident we’ll soon spot them on other A-Listers dressing for fall, too. (Jessica Alba, Rihanna, and Jennifer Lopez all signed off on Uggs recently.)

I immediately recognized the Ugg Coquette Slippers because I personally have a pair. The ridges and grooves on the soles were a perfect match, and when I zoomed in closely on Lawrence’s shoes, I could see that they, too, have a patch-like logo on the shearling exterior. 

I used to wear mine strictly as my bedtime slippers, but now I venture outside in them because they’re too comfy to just wear at night. I wouldn’t recommend wearing them in actual snow since the backs are open — I made that mistake — but they’re just right for crisp fall weather. I also wear mine with pajamas (taking another cue from J.Law), though leggings or jeans would work just as well.

The slippers are from Dearfoams, a brand vetted by Oprah Winfrey herself — it’s been featured on her Favorite Things more than once. These specific slippers are also “just as nice” as the brand-name version, according to one shopper, and to the naked eye look nearly the same.
