Lana Del Rey is clarifying whether or not she’s ever had plastic surgery.
On Tuesday, Sept. 23, the Grammy winner revealed to fans that she’s never undergone a surgical cosmetic procedure.
Initially, the 40-year-old singer (born Elizabeth Grant) was replying to an Instagram user’s post about the singer’s 2008 EP Kill Kill — which she released when she was known as Lizzy Grant.
“lizzy grant u will never be forgotten,” the post read. Del Rey then replied, “Ugh she never went anywhere, no more of that.”
A fan account then shared screenshots to Instagram, which prompted a fan to comment on Del Rey’s appearance, writing, “Her natural nose was so perf🥹.”
The Born to Die singer then clarified that her nose was not surgically altered in another comment response. “Still never even been under the knife or anesthesia in my life for the 15th year in a row!!,” she wrote, also sharing that her doctor performed a seven-minute procedure using filler to “build up the bridge of [her] nose,” changing its appearance.

Del Rey was referring to a nonsurgical rhinoplasty, which “is a cosmetic procedure where dermal fillers are used to temporarily change the shape of your nose,” per the Cleveland Clinic.
The procedure, also referred to as the “liquid nose job,” relies solely on needles and fillers, unlike surgical rhinoplasty, which is a more invasive procedure.
The results for the procedure typically last up to six months.
Before Del Rey revealed she’s undergone the nonsurgical rhinoplasty, she spoke with W Magazine for a cover story published on Tuesday, Aug. 28. During the conversation, she shared that her forthcoming LP Stove is coming out later than expected and will likely be released at the end of January 2026.
Ahead of the release of Stove, Del Rey shared two singles in April — “Bluebird” and “Henry, Come On.”

Del Rey worked on the record with producer Luke Laird and Jack Antonoff. She also noted that “the majority of the album will have a country flair.”
The “Summertime Sadness” singer went on to reveal that she considered releasing an album of country covers called Country and Western, which would feature covers of California classics. “I love ‘California Dreamin’ ’ and ‘California’ by Joni Mitchell!”
“The storytelling is there in both,” she said. “And I’m always drawn to world-creating, especially in country music.”
