Kristen Wiig graces the big screen as a crazy cat lady in Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie.
Audiences can expect to see Wiig in all of her wacky, comedic glory in the new family film, in which she plays an eccentric woman who sports matching outfits with her pet cat, Molina.
In the new movie, the cats living inside Gabby’s Dollhouse join Gabby, played by Laila Lockhart Kraner, and Grandma Gigi, played by Gloria Estefan, on a road trip to Cat Francisco. When Gabby’s Dollhouse lands in the hands of Vera, Gabby embarks on an adventure to rescue her beloved cats and dollhouse.

The movie brings DreamWorks’ global hit series Gabby’s Dollhouse to theaters. The Netflix series, premiering in 2021, is a mixed-media series for kids that explores a fantastical world of cats. The 11th season of Gabby’s Dollhouse debuted on Netflix in February.
The series was ranked the ninth-most-viewed streaming original series in 2024, according to Nielsen. The animated adventure series has also been in the Top 10 in TV on Netflix in 63 countries.

Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie is directed by Ryan Crego and executive-produced by the series’ creators Jennifer Twomey and Traci Paige Johnson.
Along with Wiig, the voice cast features Saturday Night Live alums Ego Nwodim, Kyle Mooney and Melissa Villaseñor. Thomas Lennon, Jason Mantzoukas and Fortune Feimster also join the series voice cast in this cinematic adventure.
Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie is in theaters Sept. 26.
