Jamie Foxx’s Daughter Corinne Shares Glimpse of Actor Busting a Move at Her Wedding

Jamie Foxx had a little fun on the dance floor at his daughter Corinne Foxx‘s nuptials!

To mark her first wedding anniversary on Sunday, Sept. 21, Corinne, 31, shared a video on Instagram featuring highlights from the day she tied the knot with husband Joe Hooten. The footage includes a glimpse of the bride and the Back in Action actor, 57, sharing a sweet father-daughter dance.

The pair can be seen swaying to music performed by a live band. Then, after the dance was over, Jamie took a moment to do a little solo dance move. He had swapped his patent leather dress shoes from the ceremony for a pair of white sneakers.

The video also showed Corinne and Hooten dancing together, guests mingling and a look at the stunning wedding details, from the flowers and candles to the reception dinner tablescape and three-tier cake.

Corinne captioned the video, “I’ll never forget the 21st night of September ❤️,” a nod to the couple’s wedding date and the Earth, Wind & Fire hit “September.”

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Garcelle Beauvais, who was a guest at the wedding, commented on the post, “It was magical.”

Corinne also shared a second Instagram post to mark her and Hooten’s anniversary. Alongside a series of black-and-white photos of the couple on their wedding day, she wrote, “One year since forever began ❤️,” tagging her husband.

Jamie showed his love by commenting simply: “❤️❤️❤️.”

Corinne and Hooten tied the knot on Sept. 21, 2024, and Jamie proudly walked his daughter down the aisle during the ceremony, as seen in a photo shared at the time by Beauvais, 58.

Weeks later, Corinne opened up to Vogue about her wedding, telling the outlet it was an emotional day.

“It was incredibly special, considering his health scare last year,” she said, referring to Jamie suffering a “medical complication” in April 2023 that left him out of the spotlight for months. “I walked down to a strings version of ‘Georgia on My Mind’ by Ray Charles.”

“My dad won his Oscar for playing [Charles] in 2005. At 10 years old, I was his plus-one and got to share that special moment with him,” she continued. “There wasn’t a dry eye in the house when we came down the aisle.”

Hooten told Vogue that he “didn’t expect to cry” at his wedding, but that “all bets were off” as he watched Jamie escort his bride to the altar.

“During Jamie’s health scare, the whole family went through and overcame so much. Seeing all of us make it to this moment just opened the floodgates,” he said. “It was beautiful and unlike anything I could have imagined.”

Corinne shared that the ceremony was held at her dad’s house, which was redone in preparation for the big event. “Even though my dad has lived there for almost 20 years, the house felt brand new,” she told the magazine.

Jamie shares Corinne with his ex Connie Klein. He is also dad to a 16-year-old daughter, Anelise, with ex Kristin Grannis.
