Donna Kelce Has ‘Put Some Pressure’ on Travis Kelce to Have Kids

Donna Kelce is ready to have more grandbabies!

Brothers Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce opened up about the topic on the Monday, Sept. 22 episode of their New Heights podcast while talking with Coach Deion Sanders. 

Telling Sanders that parents always rank their kids, Jason, 37, noted, “Mom’s always had Travis number one. I do know.”

But Travis, 35, cut in, saying that the rankings had changed. 

“Listen, right now right now, Mom has Jason no. 1 because he has kids,” the Kansas City Chiefs star said of his older brother, who shares daughters Wyatt, 5, Elliotte, 4, Bennett, 2, and Finn, 5 months, with wife Kylie Kelce. 

Jason agreed with Travis’ assessment, noting, “That is true. She has said that. She has made that comment. She’s put some pressure on him.” 

Sanders then jokingly teased Travis about his mom’s “pressure,” saying, “What you waiting on, Dad? So what you waiting on?”

Travis recently popped the question to his longtime girlfriend, Taylor Swift. The couple announced their engagement at the end of August, in an Instagram post featuring the NFL star’s rose-covered proposal. 

And a source recently told PEOPLE that Donna was all about the couple’s love story, even saving mementos from the big day. 

“Donna is already saving little things from this time like photos, notes and flowers,” the source told PEOPLE exclusively. “She is very sentimental about it. She wants to remember every detail, so she has been holding onto mementos from their first days as an engaged couple.”

Prior to the engagement news breaking, Donna opened up to PEOPLE about Swift’s record-breaking podcast episode on New Heights, which dropped Aug. 13. 

“I did watch the podcast, I watch all their podcasts,” Donna told PEOPLE. “It was just really eventful. It was authentic. It was just something that I think everybody was thrilled to see. It was just very loving. It was a very loving podcast.” 

Travis’ sister-in-law Kylie has already praised his skills with children, calling him “king of the funcles.” 

“[Our daughters] just know that when he comes, he’s gonna lock in,” Kylie said on her Not Gonna Lie podcast in June. “He’s gonna give them his undivided attention. They’re gonna be like, can you get on the floor? And he’s gonna be, like, already down there.”
