Who Is Jake Browning’s Fiancée? All About Stephanie Niles
Stephanie Niles caught the heart of Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Jake Browning.
The NFL athlete and the clothing brand co-founder have been together since 2018, though they were seemingly friends first. Niles once referred to Browning as her “failed FWB” (friend with benefits), while Browning has previously revealed that the two of them once agreed not to date.
In a 2023 Instagram post commemorating five years with Niles, the NFL star recalled, “Remember when we agreed we weren’t going to date? Or when we finally started dating we agreed we were going to break up when you moved to NYC in 2018…? 5 years, 4 different time zones and 14 different moves later here we are.”
“Whether it’s a fancy dinner party or a dive bar in Folsom, you move through life with a contagious energy and I can’t imagine where’d I’d be without my mob wife,” he added. “Love you pimp.”
After six years of dating, Browning proposed to his longtime love in 2024. Alongside a photo from the proposal, he wrote, “@nileees now you’re really stuck.”

She’s from Washington state

Niles grew up in the Seattle suburb of Hunts Point alongside two siblings, per Instagram.
Her parents wed in 1995 and celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary in 2020. “Dang my parents have been married for 25 years today… how lucky am i to have them as an example im so so overwhelmingly grateful,” she captioned a throwback picture of her mom and dad.
She and Browning attended the same college

Niles and Browning are both Huskies. The pair attended the same college, the University of Washington, in Seattle. Niles graduated from the school in 2018 with bachelor’s degrees in accounting and information systems, according to her LinkedIn.
The University of Washington seems to be a family tradition for Niles. In 2019, she posted a photo on Instagram of herself with her dad and siblings at the school’s Suzzallo Library, which she captioned: “Our dad’s only Father’s Day request was that we all take a photo with our UW acceptance letters at Suz. I only live in the past.”
She started dating Browning in 2018

The pair’s relationship precedes Browning’s NFL career. Niles and the football player started dating in 2018. The couple first appeared on each other’s respective Instagram accounts that July.
On their first anniversary on May 5, 2019, Niles jokingly called tequila “the foundation” of their relationship.

Browning got down on one knee and proposed to Niles on a beach in Malibu in 2024. The couple announced their engagement in November with posts on their respective Instagrams.

She co-founded a sustainable swimwear brand

Following a career in accounting, Niles founded the sustainable swimwear brand 7th Street Swim with her friend Emma in 2020.
The brand, which has been inactive on Instagram since 2022, is described as “a luxury, sustainable swimwear brand born in NYC” that “brings city girls to the beach and does it with the planet in mind.” Shortly after the brand’s launch, Niles appeared on the cover of her hometown magazine, Points Living, to discuss her business.

Niles is supportive of her NFL fiancée and often shares pictures and videos of herself at his games.
In 2022, she supported Browning and the Bengals at the Super Bowl. “omw to witness the bengals win the super bowl 🐯🐯,” she captioned a snapshot of herself at SoFi Stadium before the big game. (The Bengals ultimately lost the game to the Los Angeles Rams).
More recently, Niles was on hand to witness Browning fill in for the Bengals’ starting quarterback Joe Burrow, who suffered a toe injury during the second quarter of the team’s Sept. 14 matchup. Browning proceeded to lead the team to a comeback victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
