Machine Gun Kelly is opening up about co-parenting with former fiancée Megan Fox.
While on The Jennifer Hudson Show on Thursday, Sept. 18, MGK, 35, was asked about the meaning of his daughter’s name. The musician and Fox, 39, welcomed daughter Saga Blade in March.
“My ancestors, and my family is Norwegian, and there’s a Norwegian goddess named Saga, and it means ‘epic story,’ ” the “cliché” singer said.
Elaborating on how he and Fox chose her name, he said, “And so we named her Saga because to get her on this earth through highs and lows, it truly was an epic story of love, pain, and a lot of magic.”
The singer went on to praise Fox’s parenting, calling her “The person who is the greatest partner” and “the greatest person to have had a child with” because “she’s such a phenomenal mom.”
“We go back and forth on who she looks like. Like last month she looked exactly like me and now she looks exactly like her. It changes, you know?” Kelly confessed.
Kelly is also dad to daughter Casie, 16, whom he shares with former girlfriend Emma Cannon. Casie recently accompanied her dad to the Daily Front Row Fashion Media Awards, hosted in partnership with Casamigos in New York City on Sept. 12, where Kelly won the Style Icon Award.

The father-daughter duo also recently celebrated another milestone together: Casie getting her first car.
On Thursday’s episode, Hudson, 44, then played a video clip in which Casie rejoices in excitement after her dad made the big reveal.
“Can I tell you a funny story about that? Okay, so I don’t have my license, and she still doesn’t have her license, so everyday she just sits in the driveway in her car, and listens to music,” Kelly said.

When asked if the new car will inspire the father-daughter duo to get their licenses, MGK said, “She’ll get it first. I think I’m tapped out of the game. I like the interactions I keep having with police every time they pull me over,” he joked.
He then revealed that Casie is still in the process of officially becoming a licensed driver. “Let’s take the show to DMV,” he joked.
MGK recently announced his global The Lost Americana Tour. It’s set to kick off in Los Angeles on Oct. 1, with stops in Europe, Australia and New Zealand before it wraps in Ridgefield, Wash., on July 1, 2026.
