Giants prepared for ‘ultimate challenge’ despite Chiefs looking vulnerable

The Chiefs have that zero in the win column and that is not what anyone expects to see from them two weeks into any season. 

It looks … different. But are they different? 

“Nope,’’ outside linebacker Brian Burns said after Giants practice Wednesday. “They’re the same team. They’re just having their early beginning-of-the-year struggles. Nothing different, nothing changed. Fifteen is still back there.’’ 

Yes, 15 is still back there. At times, it seems as if Patrick Mahomes is being asked to do everything by himself. He turned 30 on Wednesday and the three-time Super Bowl winner is not exactly surrounded with a powerhouse supporting cast.
