Conversations began between the men while Kate was in a deep conversation with Melania Trump, as Queen Camilla watched and looked around.

After a few moments, the Queen seemed to discreetly wave her hand, a subtle signal for her daughter-in-law to move along.

The royal family has pulled out all the stops for the Presidential visit.

Over 1,500 members of the British armed forces lined the route through the Windsor Grounds, while a 41-gun salute sounded from the castle grounds and the Tower of London to mark the occasion.

Inside Windsor Castle, President Trump and his wife attended a private luncheon and a wreath-laying at the tomb of Queen Elizabeth II.

The senior royals, including Kate, William, Camilla and Charles, hosted the Trumps at a state banquet in St. George’s Hall later in the evening with more than 160 guests.

It is the second time President Trump has made a state visit to the UK, the first was back in July 2018.
