Paul McCartney adds Santa Barbara concert 2025: Where to buy tickets

It may seem that Paul McCartney has done everything and then some over the course of his illustrious career.

After a bit of digging, we found that Sir Paul has won 19 Grammys, had nine number-one hits as a solo artist, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and, lest we forget, played with a little group known as The Beatles.

Yet, somehow against all odds, Macca is yet to perform in Santa Barbara.

That all changes on Saturday, Sept. 26 when the man who brought the world “Hey Jude” takes the stage at the intimate (for Paul), 4,500-seat Santa Barbara Bowl.

McCartney’s one-off show at the Gauchos’ home kicks off the upcoming North American leg of his ongoing ‘Got Back Tour’ that began in 2022.

The venue requires fans Beatlemaniacs to put their devices in Yondr pouches to create a “phone-free” experience.

“This special surprise performance has been in the works for about three and half years,” Goldenvoice Executive Vice President Moss Jacobs said, according to The Santa Barbara Independent.

After the opening night gig, the 83-year-old “Ed Sullivan” show alum is scheduled to perform another 20 concerts including huge arena and stadium shows in Las Vegas (Oct. 4), Denver (Oct. 11), Minneapolis (Oct. 17), Nashville (Nov. 6) and Buffalo (Nov. 14).

Before the forthcoming fall trek, McCartney last sang in front of an audience was when he delivered a hair-raising rendition of The Beatles’ “Abbey Road Suite” at SNL’s 50th Anniversary this past February. To ramp up for that television appearance, the Liverpool native headlined three shows at NYC’s Bowery Ballroom.

Set List FM reported he took Beatles favorites to the stage like “A Hard Day’s Night,” “Blackbird,” “Let It Be,” “Hey Jude,” “The Abbey Road Suite” and the Fab Four’s recently-released “Now And Then” along with Wings classics “Junior’s Farm,” “Let Me Roll It,” “Let ‘Em In” and “Nineteen Hundred and Eighty-Five.”

Although we’re not sure what timeless tracks McCartney will dust off for these ‘Got Back’ gigs, we do know the man isn’t getting any younger. If seeing Paul live in concert is on your bucket list, we recommend making this tour a priority.

In June, The Post just caught him live at Radio City and raved their “Ringo expectations [were] officially met and exceeded.”

If you’d like to see the gifted drummer turned frontman live, here’s where Ringo will be later this year.

Paul McCartney new music

On May 16, McCartney and Barbra Streisand released their yearning duet “My Valentine.”

The romantic song is fairly straightforward for Macca who typically tends to embrace unique sounds even when he releases Christmas music; therefore, the heartfelt standard, which he originally released in 2012 with a bit more verve on the cover-heavy jazz record “Kisses on the Bottom,” is an oddity — a star-studded one but an oddity all the same — and must be heard to be believed.
