Colin Farrell reveals what turns him on about married co-star Margot Robbie
Colin Farrell admitted to being turned on by Margot Robbie’s personality.
The actor explained that he didn’t know Robbie personally until they started working together on their new movie, “A Big Bold Beautiful Journey,” in a joint appearance on “Late Night with Seth Meyers.”
“You hear things through the years, ’cause as you know yourself, it’s a fairly small industry,” he told host Seth Meyers Tuesday night.
“So I met people through the years that worked with Margot … and they all, men and women, said how extraordinary she was.”
Aside from being an “incredible actress,” the “Penguin” actor heard through the Hollywood grapevine that she was “kind,” “fun” and “one of the team.”
“She is,” he confirmed, adding, “Which is always a turn-on for me … Straight up!”
A blushing Robbie told him “stop” before joking that she owed him “20 bucks later” for making the sweet comment on television.
Farrell, 49, further gushed that Robbie’s magnetic personality was “really apparent” right when they met.
“It was just really easy,” he said of working together.
For her part, the “Barbie” actress also pointed out that she heard rave reviews about Farrel before they connected on their project.
“Everyone talks about what a great guy he is — obviously, I know he’s talented and all that,” she said.
Th 35-year-old went on to share that two of her closest girlfriends were crew members on one of Farrell’s films.
“They, too, were like, ‘He’s just the most divine human being on the planet,’” Robbie revealed.
Farrell’s comment comes as Robbie is set to celebrate her 10th wedding anniversary with Tom Ackerley in December. The pair welcomed their first child, a baby boy, last year.
Meanwhile, Farrell has never been married. However, he shares son James, 22, with ex-girlfriend Kim Bordenave and son Henry, 15, with ex-girlfriend Alicja Bachleda-Curuś.
“A Big Bold Beautiful Journey” hits theaters Friday.
