Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s former Hamptons rental asks $35M

A new-construction Hamptons mansion built on the site of a teardown where Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie formerly summered has hit the market for $35 million, Gimme Shelter has learned.

The stately residence, at 495 Ox Pasture Road in Southampton’s estate section, is slated for completion by year’s end, said listing broker Tim Davis, of Corcoran, who shares the listing with his son, Thomas Davis.

The sellers bought the formerly standing home, built in 1995, for $12.7 million in 2022 and then listed it for $14.45 million. That was before they decided to demolish it and rebuild from the ground up.

Pitt and Jolie stayed in the previous dwelling in 2006, when paparazzi hovered above the grounds in a helicopter hoping to get shots of the famous couple.

“They were flying so low, she was terrified they’d crash into the house,” a source told Gimme Shelter at the time.

The two finally divorced last year after a bitter eight-year battle.

The new, south-of-the-highway escape, which is around 12,000 square feet, features an elevator along with 12 bedrooms, 10 baths and three powder rooms — all on 2.2 acres.

Outside, there’s a landscaped garden with a new 60-foot pool, a pool house and a renovated tennis court — plus “millions of dollars” worth of mature trees and perimeter landscaping, Tim Davis said.

“The house is positioned back from the road and has a true estate feeling. There’s nothing else like it in Southampton,” he added.

Designed by Martin Architects and built by Koral Brothers Builders, the beach mansion opens to a large foyer that leads to a living room with a glass wall looking out to the pool, a garden, a great lawn and the tennis court.

An open kitchen and living area anchors the main floor, which also features a library and home office. In addition, the main floor hosts a large guest suite and an additional guest-slash-staff suite.

Upstairs, there’s a main bedroom suite with two spa-like baths and a separate guest suite.

Downstairs, perks include a gym, a home theater, wine storage and room for a sauna.
