Donald Trump calls Kate Middleton ‘so beautiful’ as US state visit kicks off
President Trump gushed over Kate Middleton’s beauty during his state visit on Wednesday.
The Princess of Wales and Prince William, both 43, kicked off the US visit to the UK by greeting the President of the United States and his wife, First Lady Melania Trump, on the grounds of Windsor Castle.
As they shook hands, Trump told a smiling Middleton, “You’re beautiful, so beautiful.”
The two couples then made their way into Windsor Castle with William placing his hand on his wife’s back to guide her.
There, they were greeted by King Charles III and his wife, Queen Consort Camilla.
For the visit, Middleton wore a deep red coat with a matching fascinator and brown pumps. William, on the other hand, wore a long black coat with navy slacks.
Meanwhile, Trump and Melania put on a united front by wearing dark suits with plum accents. The First Lady wore a wide-brimmed hat in the dark hue, while Trump matched with a purple tie.
Camilla also channeled jewel-toned colors in her outfit by wearing a royal blue dress with a matching hat. Charles also wore a blue suit for the official state visit.
The Chief Commander, 79, and his wife, 55, are in the UK at the invitation of Charles for a second state visit, which runs from Wednesday to Thursday.
The first time Trump was invited to the UK was in 2017 by Queen Elizabeth II after he was sworn into office for his first term as president.
This is not the first time that Trump has commented on the royal family’s looks.
In December 2024, he gushed to The Post about William’s looks after their one-on-one meeting following the ceremonial reopening of the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris in December 2024.
“He’s a good-looking guy. He looked really, very handsome last night,” he told the outlet exclusively.
“Some people look better in person? He looked great. He looked really nice, and I told him that,” he added.
Trump also complimented Charles when he received the king’s official invitation to go across the pond.
When British Prime Minister Keir Starmer presented the businessman with a letter from Charles, he responded, “He’s a beautiful man and a wonderful man. We appreciate it.
“I’ve gotten to know him very well actually. First term and now a second term.”
