You can’t keep Sasha Farber out of the ballroom for long.

Fans were upset to see Farber’s name missing from the list of pros competing alongside celebrity contestants on Dancing with the Stars season 34, but it looks like 41-year-old will still be part of the action after all — just in a different capacity.

A post shared to the ABC reality competition series’ official Instagram on Monday, Sept. 15, read, “Ready for more behind the scenes? 🤩 We’re going LIVE on TikTok with @sashafarber1 TOMORROW to celebrate the #DWTS Premiere!”

Taking to the comments to react, Farber wrote, “Can’t wait to showwwwww you guys around the ballroom and take you backstage !!!!!!!!! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍.”

“Come and hang with me this will be good!!!!!” he added in an Instagram Story sharing the post.

Farber’s fellow Dancing with the Stars pros couldn’t contain their excitement and sounded off in the comments as well.

“All hail the new social guy! @sashafarber1 congrats babe ❤️,” Peta Murgatroyd wrote, to which Farber responded, “@petamurgatroyd boom!!! I’m going to go places no one has gone before 😂😂😂😂😂 tune in.”

“LETS GO @sashafarber1 😍😍😍,” Daniella Karagach wrote, with Emma Slater adding, “YESSSSS @sashafarber1 let’s go!” Pasha Pashkov also threw in a reply with five heart hand emojis.

Following the Dancing with the Stars season 34 cast announcement, Farber took to his Instagram Story to share a video to his fans addressing his absence.

“It is a beautiful day today. Guys, the Dancing with the Stars cast announcement was today. Wow, so many good names. Who are you going to vote for? I mean, I know who I’m going to vote for,” he said while walking on a trail. “I know who you’re not going to vote for — that’s me.”

After telling fans “that’s okay,” he thanked them all for all their “incredible messages.”

“I read them all. I see it all. I adore you. I definitely don’t deserve you because you guys are amazing. I love you. Thank you so much,” he said of his fans’ support before ending his message by assuring everyone that they are in for “quite a season.”

“Like, who’s going to win? Anyone could win,” he said. “This is going to be great, and I can’t wait to cheer. Love you all.”

A source also told PEOPLE at the time that it’s “not uncommon for pros to rotate seasons.”

Farber has competed on 12 seasons of Dancing with the Stars to date, making his debut as a pro in season 17 alongside Jersey Shore star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and most recently in season 33 alongside former Bachelorette Jenn Tran, with whom he sparked a brief romance.

Though Farber has yet to take home the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy for himself, he has come close a few times, notably finishing in third place twice.
