Amid her conservatorship and health battles, Wendy Williams has made a return to New York Fashion Week.

On Sunday, Sept. 14, the former talk show host, 61, was photographed at the Bach Mai fashion show dressed in a black blazer dress accessorized with a Gucci belt.

Williams completed the look with bangle bracelets as well as a matching necklace with a W pendant. She kept her makeup simple, wearing a classic red lip with light blush and eyeliner. Her hair was parted down the middle in loose waves.

The outing was followed by a visit to Dennis Basso’s preview on Monday, Sept. 15, which she attended with Max Tucci, her niece Alex Finnie, and Finnie’s fiancé Eric Houston, per Page Six.

For the event, the former Wendy Williams Show host wore a pale yellow tweed two-piece set with gray sneakers. She accessorized with the same bangles and necklace she wore the day prior, as well as similar makeup.

Since May 2022, Williams has been living under a legal guardianship that oversees both her finances and health.

Per Williams’ court filings, she was assigned a guardian after Wells Fargo froze her accounts in 2022, as a result of her financial adviser at the time claiming that she was of “unsound mind.”

The bank successfully petitioned a New York court to have Williams placed under a temporary financial guardianship, reportedly because she was at risk of financial exploitation due to cognitive issues.

Williams’ medical care team revealed that she had been diagnosed with primary progressive aphasia and frontotemporal dementia in February 2024. She received her diagnosis in 2023.

According to previous documents obtained by PEOPLE, Williams’ guardianship was upheld last month after she completed a “significant number of tests” as part of a medical examination.

Although the doctors’ “opinion” about Williams’ neurological condition and diagnosis was not listed in the paperwork, sources tell PEOPLE that she was once again diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD) and aphasia.

The documents also show that an attorney for Williams’ guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, requested an extension of her current stay until Nov. 3. This will allow Judge Sokoloff time to determine whether Morrissey will remain in her role and whether Williams still requires a guardian.

The attorney also noted in the documents that “complications have arisen” due to “various parties, including counsel for certain members of [Williams’] family, [Williams’] ex-husband, and others, have indicated their intention to challenge both the Guardianship itself as well as Ms. Morrissey’s status as Guardian.”
