Ana Navarro Shades Jenna Ortega’s Risky Emmys Outfit On ‘The View’: “I Couldn’t Pull That Off”
The ladies of The View took some time during Monday’s (Sept. 15) broadcast to weigh in on the 77th annual Emmy Awards. While the co-hosts had many thoughts to share about the “phenomenal” shows that were honored that evening, Ana Navarro cracked a joke about actress Jenna Ortega‘s sultry red carpet look.
Sunny Hostin gave Ortega a shoutout during the segment, saying she looked “fabulous” in her look, from Givenchy by Sarah Burton.
“Yeah, but I gotta tell you, you gotta have really small titties to pull that off,” Navarro commented, prompting laughter from her co-hosts and the audience.
She continued, “Those things were so strategically placed, I couldn’t pull that off. I’d need a rock.”
Hostin couldn’t disagree. “Yes, I wasn’t thinking about that, but it’s beautiful,” she said.
Alyssa Farah Griffin went on to praise Adolescence star Owen Cooper, who made history as the youngest male actor to win a Primetime Emmy Award.
“It’s unbelievable, he is so incredibly talented. I can’t wait to see what he does next,” she said.
And Sara Haines praised HBO’s “phenomenal” medical drama The Pitt, which took home five Emmy Awards last night for its inaugural season.
“I turned it on, [and I] couldn’t turn it off,” she said.
But Whoopi Goldberg seemed like she was ready to move on from the conversation.
She didn’t seem to have anything to contribute to the conversation as she immediately moved on to the show’s Hispanic Heritage Month tribute to Roberto Clemente.
The View airs on weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
