NFL Week 2 player props, picks, best bets
Player props remained the most beatable market last week.
So let’s take a peek at the Week 2 player prop market after a strong showing last week.
We started the season by going 4-4 last week on eight bets, but we nailed a +500 wager on Bijan Robinson to catch six passes.
In total, we won 3.9 units ($39 in profit on $10 bets). Let’s keep it rolling in Week 2.
Week 2 NFL player props picks, best bets
Joe Flacco over 279.5 passing yards (+198, DraftKings) | 400+ (27/1, DraftKings)
Nobody knows Baltimore like Joe Flacco. If not for a few dropped passes and fluky interceptions that were not his fault, the Browns likely beat the Bengals last week. Flacco would have thrown for 400 yards, and our 42/1 bet would have hit, and we’d be sitting on some cold, hard cash.
We go back to the well this week as the Ravens allowed the most passing yards in the NFL in Week 1, while Flacco is never afraid to air it out.

Travis Hunter anytime touchdown scorer (+250, ESPN BET) | Trevor Lawrence anytime touchdown scorer (+550, BetMGM) | Lawrence over 10.5 rushing yards (-114, BetRivers) | 45+ (12/1, ESPN BET)
We continue fading the Bengals’ defense in a game that I think the Jaguars could win outright. Cincinnati’s stats defensively don’t signal major alarm bells at face value, but the aforementioned flukey turnovers saved them.
Travis Hunter should work primarily out of the slot for the Jaguars, and Cincinnati allowed Cedric Tillman to beat them up from that spot last week (eight catches for 52 yards and a touchdown).
The Bengals allowed the second-most rushing yards to opposing quarterbacks last season (515), and this is not something that they had to deal with the previous week when Flacco played.
Look for Lawrence to have a nose for the endzone this weekend.
Betting on the NFL?
This would obviously point to a target his rushing total over of 10.5. Last week’s game, Lawrence went over this total, and that was a laugher.
Liam Coen loves getting his quarterbacks moving, and this could be a key factor for his growth this season.
Isaac TeSlaa to score a touchdown (+500, ESPN BET) | 2+ touchdowns (75/1, bet365)
Isaac TeSlaa made a circus touchdown grab for the Lions last week as he grabbed the ball with one hand.
If that didn’t raise any eyebrows in Detroit, I’m not sure what will. TeSlaa, a third-round draft choice, should see his role grow each week.
TeSlaa’s snap count isn’t great, but if you follow what Dan Campbell said after his touchdown grab last week, you will agree that this is a strong value bet on Sunday.
