Brennan Othmann enters his fifth Rangers rookie camp a new man

Brennan Othmann knew it was time for a change.

After appearing in a career-high 22 games for the Rangers last season, which brought Othmann up to 25 total contests without scoring a goal or making a significant impression, the 22-year-old forward decided to do something different this summer in hopes that it would translate onto the ice.

He switched his gym and trainer, opting to work at Gary Roberts Performance in Vaughan, Ontario.

There, Othmann skated alongside players like Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl, Gabe Landeskog, Sean Durzi and Quinton Byfield. He weighed in at 195 pounds Wednesday, meaning he put on almost 10 pounds this summer.
