These Minnetonka Slippers Remind Me of a Pair That’s Twice as Pricey
Fall isn’t really a big deal here in Arizona since the only seasons we really get are warm and warmer. But it does get ridiculously cold indoors because of the blasting A/C, so, contrary to what you may think, I still need a pair of toasty-warm bedside slippers. (After all, you can take the girl out of the Midwest, but you can never take the Midwest out of the girl.)
For the past year or so, it’s been the Minnetonka Chesneys, which the brand gifted me, that I blindly kick for night after night. They immediately warm up my feet when they feel like icicles, and they’re just as soft and plush as my $130 Ugg Coquette slippers — which Jennifer Lawrence has also worn. They’re also half the price.

Even if it’s over 100 degrees outside, I look forward to putting them on at the end of the day. The pile lining makes me sigh with relief every time — like, ah, yes, I made it through another day — and I honestly can’t tell the difference between these and my sheepskin-collared Uggs.
With the Minnetonkas on, I’ve also never once slipped on my wood, tile, and sometimes shower water-splashed floors. They’ve got extra-thick soles and slide on and off easier than a pair of socks. To be honest, they make me dread getting out of bed and stepping on a cold surface each morning a whole lot less.
I have the low-in-stock blush pink color — which the brand tells me Kathy Hilton gifted to all her pajama party attendees back in 2023 — but they come in more classic options at Amazon, like cinnamon, black, stone, and cocoa, too. The slippers have more than 1,600 five-star ratings, with fellow shoppers raving about their durability and fit.
