The results are in for the winner of Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality Competition Program!
Alan Cumming was recognized for hosting The Traitors at the 2025 Creative Arts Emmys on Sunday, Sept. 7. Last year, the Scottish actor brought home his first-ever Emmy win for the same category.
Other nominees included Jeff Probst (Survivor), Kristen Kish (Top Chef), RuPaul (RuPaul’s Drag Race), along with Mark Cuban, Lori Greiner, Kevin O’Leary, Barbara Corcoran, Robert Herjavec, Daymond John and Daniel Lubetzky (Shark Tank).
Cumming, 60, has hosted all three seasons of the U.S. version of The Traitors, which premiered in 2023.
Along with Cumming’s big win last year, the Peacock series also won Outstanding Reality Competition Program, which Cumming accepted with a heartfelt speech.
“We are so grateful because we are a new show — and you guys, you know when you like something, you tend to stick to it, which is a good quality — but we appreciate it all the more,” he said.
The Traitors is once again nominated for Outstanding Reality Competition Program at this year’s Primetime Emmy Awards on Sept. 14.
This is Cumming’s eighth Emmy nomination through his career.

Probst, 63, is on his 25th year hosting Survivor as the series heads into its 49th season on Sept. 24.
Last year, Probst opened up to PEOPLE about the longtime gig and his passion for the show.
“I love Survivor. Still love it. And honestly, nothing makes me happier than seeing people who also like it,” he admitted. “I know it seems crazy, but I love the job. I really do. I am naturally curious and I’m mostly curious about human behavior, why we do the things we do. And I’ve had a front-row seat to that for 24 years.”
He even joked, “My friends know, ‘Oh, Probst will do that forever. He loves this.’”
Along with his nomination — which marks his 14th since the series began in 2000 — Survivor is also up for Outstanding Reality Competition Program this year. Probst also won the title in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011.

Kish, 41, began hosting Top Chef in 2023, a decade after she won season 10 of the hit show.
She reflected on her experience as a South Korean-born adoptee raised in Michigan who never expected to be the host of one of the most popular cooking shows.
“My TV career wasn’t part of the plan,” she explained to PEOPLE in April. “It felt more like an accident, moments I said ‘yes’ to that slowly defined the plan. With each new on-screen opportunity, I am encouraged to be more myself in front of people I may never meet.”
“I feel proud to represent myself and to be an on-screen representative for communities I belong to,” she added. “I’ve been learning what it means to take up space and stand in my own light — not just for myself but for others as well.”
Kish was nominated in the same category in 2024 and her nomination this year was one of three for Top Chef as a whole.

RuPaul, 64, spearheads his titular series, RuPaul’s Drag Race, as host, judge and producer.
The iconic show has been on the air since 2009, and it has since garnered 29 Emmy wins and 79 nominations.
In 2024, he told PEOPLE his secret to success: “Don’t take life too seriously.” His other best piece of advice was something he learned from a drag queen named Lakesha Lucky in the ’80s, when he was getting his professional start as a club performer in Atlanta.
“You’re born naked and the rest is drag,” he said.
In addition to his nomination this year, the show is a contender in seven other categories.

Shark Tank’s beloved season 16 investors — Cuban, Greiner, O’Leary, Corcoran, Herjavec, John and Lubetzky — have made their mark on many lives.
The nominations of all seven “sharks” coincides with Cuban’s final season on the show after 14 years. During his last episode in May, the businessman reflected on his impact on the series and shared what he thinks makes it so meaningful.
“I think I just brought a little bit of an edge, where I tried to make it not so much about an academic investment show, but more a show that is about people trying to reach their goals, trying to have their dreams come true,” he explained. “I’ve been in their shoes. I’ve been broke, I’ve been sleeping on the floor. I can put myself in the shoes of pretty much anybody who’s standing on the carpet.”
Shark Tank is also nominated for Outstanding Structured Reality Program this year. It has won a total of five Emmys in the past and earned 27 nominations.
