KATSEYE has made their mark on the 2025 MTV VMAs.
Sophia Laforteza, Manon Bannerman, Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel and Yoonchae Jeung have all had quite the year, but now they’re going even bigger with their debut at the star-studded awards show.
The six members made a statement in coordinating black and pink Dolce & Gabbana looks tailored to their personal styles.

Lara, 19, selected a daring corset bodysuit and bejeweled heels that matched her headpiece while Yoonchae, 17, pulled off a little black dress with knee-high boots. Manon, 23, and Sophia, 22, leaned into the office siren trend in a pinstripe blazer minidress and seemingly Madonna-inspired dress with pointed cups respectively.
Megan, 19, teamed her signature pink highlights with an equally pink look that featured a bodycon dress and furry mauve arm cuffs as Daniela, 21, dazzled in a low-cut dress styled with a statement necklace as well as black gloves and heels.
KATSEYE’s red carpet debut comes along with their first nomination for BACARDÍ Rum’s MTV Push Performance of the Year for their single “Touch.” The six members will also take the stage for the ceremony’s pre-show.

In the years since the group was formed through reality competition show Debut: Dream Academy, which chronicled the creation of a first-of-its-kind global girl group centered on the rigorous training methods of the K-Pop music industry, the group put themselves on the map with songs such as “Touch” and “Gnarly,” the latter of which landed them their first ranking on Billboard’s Hot 100 list. They also performed for the first time at Lollapalooza this summer and will kick off their Beautiful Chaos Tour in November.

In a group interview with PEOPLE in July about their collaboration with Mattel’s Monster High franchise, Sophia opened up about how they’ve been finding their footing with their mega fame.
“I think that’s one thing that we’re really trying to hold onto, is knowing how to stay creative, even in our space alone and at home when there are no cameras and there’s no work to do,” she said of striking a work-life balance that allows them to stay grounded in the spotlight. “Because we sort of turned our hobby into a career, and we’re so blessed for that, but we’ve learned that it’s so important to still continue to have that creativity, like me just doing karaoke at night and then getting to go to work and performing and singing on stage.”
The 2025 MTV VMAs air live from New York’s UBS Arena on Sunday, Sept. 7 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS and MTV. The ceremony will also stream on Paramount+.
