Leslie Bibb‘s secret to glowing skin is literally cool.

The White Lotus star, 51, shared the “simple hack” she turns to for her skin when speaking with PEOPLE exclusively at the Elizabeth Arden: The Capsule Lab – Immersive Beauty Experience in celebration of the Hyaluronic Acid + Peptides Ceramide collection on Sept. 4.

“I do ice baths for my face,” Bibb told PEOPLE exclusively at the three-day pop-up event in New York City. “It looks stupid, but I have a big mixing bowl. I just put ice in it and cold water. And then your skin looks great — it always shakes the cobwebs out.”

Bibb submerges her face in the ice water for “20 seconds” before removing her head from the bowl.

“The thing is, your first dip is your easiest dip, and then you go back and then it gets colder and colder,” she shared. “But if you do that and then you put on your creams and your serums … It really is a magic trick.”

As for what creams and serums she’s using these days, Bibb says she’s long been “hip to Elizabeth Arden” and favors the brand because of how “simple” the products are to use.

The Iron Man actress spoke highly of the two new skincare innovations unveiled by the legacy brand: the Hyaluronic Acid + Peptides Ceramide Capsules Hydra-Plumping Serum and the Hyaluronic Acid + Peptides Ceramide Hydra-Plumping Water Cream.

In fact, Bibb told PEOPLE that she’s “obsessed” with the “user-friendly” capsules, which were designed by the brand to deliver long-lasting plumping hydration along with the water cream.

“Anything in a capsule takes all the guessing out of it!” she gushed. After applying the water plumping cream, “Your skin feels firmer!” she states.

“Keep it simple,” Bibb says of having a regimen. “Because if it gets too complicated, you’re not going to do it. People give up. It’s like a complicated diet, nobody’s going to do it. That’s what I love about Arden is that Elizabeth Arden makes it really simple.”

While Bibb likes a stress-free routine, she never skips essential steps such as washing her face morning and night. “I live by [it],” she makes clear.

“I love lotions and potions. I love beauty,” Bibb tells PEOPLE. “I feel like your skin is your biggest organ and that you need to take care of it, and I’ve always been a big proponent of that my whole life.”

The new Hyaluronic Acid + Peptides Ceramide Collection is clinically proven to deliver visibly plumper, firmer skin and up to 240 hours of continuous hydration. Guests of the pop up, which runs through Sept. 7, can shop for these innovations as well as bestsellers from the brand for 20% off, as well as indulge in express spa services and more.
