Taylor Swift left a sweet surprise for Travis Kelce’s trainer’s daughter
Travis Kelce’s trainer couldn’t hide his admiration for Taylor Swift after the singer made his young daughter’s day.
Tony Villani — who has been training Kelce during the NFL offseason — shared with USA Today last month that his daughter Carol-Myles, 8, walked in during a video call and asked the Kansas City Chiefs star, “Where’s your girlfriend?”
After Carol-Myles asked the famed athlete some questions about marriage, Swift, 35, appeared onscreen for a little chat.
“Her and Travis just hammed it up with my daughter for like two minutes,” he said, adding that his daughter “just couldn’t speak because she was in awe.”
“Neither of them needed to do that,” Villani gushed over the kind gesture. “I think they’re just like that,” he continued. “I really do, and it’s very genuine.”
Of the athlete, he added, “He’s literally the most humble, fun-loving, honest, genuine and hardworking guy there is. What you see on his podcast [‘New Heights’] that’s him. There is no fakeness to it. That’s him.”
The revelation comes amid big life changes for Kelce, whose 13th season with the NFL kicked off Friday. Kelce, 35, and the “Cruel Summer” hitmaker also announced their engagement in a joint Instagram post on Aug. 26.
“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨,” they captioned photos from the pink and white rose-filled proposal — which Page Six revealed actually took place in the tight end’s Leawood, Kan., backyard.
Kelce popped the question — a couple of weeks prior to the big announcement — with a unique old mine brilliant cut diamond, which Page Six revealed could be worth an eye-popping $1 million.
A source told Page Six on Wednesday that the couple plans to wed “next summer in Rhode Island” as the hitmaker “is in a hurry to have children.”
The “Blank Space” hitmaker owns a mansion there, famed for her star-studded Fourth of July and pool parties.
Meanwhile, other young fans closer to the family are also beside themselves over the engagement. “The girls are thrilled,” Jason Kelce’s wife, Kylie Kelce, shared of their four daughters on “Good Morning America.”
“They’re so excited they’re getting another aunt.”
