Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi Coordinate Their Outfits for Rare Date Night in Paris

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi were a perfect match during their latest date night!

The couple was spotted having a rare date night in Paris on Thursday, Sept. 4, at the unveiling of RH Paris at The Gallery on the Champs-Élysées.

DeGeneres, 67, attended the event in a simple outfit consisting of a black crewneck sweater and a pair of khaki pants. The former talk show host completed the look with sporty neutral sneakers and wore her natural dark hair slightly tousled.

De Rossi, 52, wore a semi-sheer, long-sleeve turtleneck dress in black with her black bra showing. The Arrested Development actress completed her ensemble with black tights and black leather ankle boots, and styled her highlighted blonde hair with a center part and flipped ends.

Ahead of their time at the RH store opening, the couple also matched in white and black while taking a stroll through Paris. For the outing, DeGeneres wore a white button-down shirt with a neck scarf. She paired the crisp top with a pair of dark slim-fit pants and the same sporty sneakers she later wore to the RH store opening.

De Rossi, meanwhile, opted for a cream button-down pussy-bow blouse. Like her spouse, she paired the top with dark bottoms, but instead wore black skinny jeans. She accessorized her outfit with brown sunglasses, a brown leather bag and pointed-toe white leather shoes.

The couple’s time at the RH store opening comes amid the pair recently celebrating 17 years of marriage last month. The event also marks DeGeneres and de Rossi’s first major public outing in over a year; they last attended the launch party for Jeremiah Brent’s Book, The Space That Keeps You, on March 2, 2024.

Before the book launch party, DeGeneres and de Rossi’s last public outing took place in 2023, and was also in support of RH; the couple attended the unveiling of RH England at The Gallery at the Historic Aynho Park in Banbury, England, on June 3 of that year.

DeGeneres and de Rossi notably relocated to the English countryside in 2024. In July, DeGeneres confirmed that she moved to England because of President Donald Trump’s election.

The former talk show host revealed in a July 20 interview with English broadcaster Richard Bacon that she “got here the day before the election and woke up to lots of texts from our friends with crying emojis, and I was like, ‘He got in.’ … And we’re like, ‘We’re staying here.’”
