Jets’ worst Alijah Vera-Tucker fears confirmed in injury nightmare
The Jets’ worst fears were confirmed.
Alijah Vera-Tucker tore his triceps and will need season-ending surgery, head coach Aaron Glenn said before practice on Thursday.
Glenn said it will be roughly a seven-month rehab.
“It is what it is,” Glenn said. “Been through this here. He was a big player for us. We gotta keep rolling.”

Glenn said he has not yet decided how he will reshuffle the offensive line.
The most likely move is sliding Joe Tippmann over to Vera-Tucker’s right guard spot and inserting Josh Myers at center.
