Swizz Beatz Addresses Alicia Keys Divorce Rumors After Speculation

The love remains strong between Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys.
Earlier this summer, a rumor was spread by gossip YouTuber Misstee claiming Swizz, 46, cheated on Keys, 44, fathered a child outside their marriage and led the “No One” singer to file for divorce. But the Grammy-winning DJ and producer took to social media on Wednesday, Sept. 3 to shut down any speculation of trouble in their relationship.
In a video posted in July, Misstee made the claims and said the story originated from social media. A couple weeks later, radio host Rickey Smiley amplified the rumors on a broadcast, leading some fans to wonder if Swizz and Keys’ marriage was really on the rocks.

Earlier this week, however, Swizz shared a video of the couple smiling, laughing and dancing together to Instagram. The Shade Room reposted the video, and some fans discussed the divorce rumors in the comments section.
Swizz then entered the chat. “Everybody knew we was Divorced but us,” he wrote alongside cry-laughing emojis. “We found out on our 15yr anniversary vacation.”
He continued, “People rather believe fake gossip instead of the truth because they’re miserable we have nothing to do with that !!! Bless up !!”
Beatz and Keys met in the 1990s and reconnected in 2008. They announced their engagement and first pregnancy two years later and got married in July 2010.
They share two children together, Egypt Daoud and Genesis Ali, and Keys is stepmom to Beatz’s three children from previous relationships, Prince Nasir, Kasseem Jr. and Nicole.

Keys celebrated 15 years of marriage to Beatz with a heartfelt tribute on social media in July featuring lyrics honoring him and their relationship.
“We are sublime / Devoted / Longer than time / You are mine / I am yours /And yet we set each free / Nowhere else / Nowhere more / I am wanting to be / Look at us / And see / Truth / Love / And beauty / Forever yours / Completely / Forever yours / Completely,” she wrote, rounding out the message with, “What a time / What a time / We are sublime.”
“15 years of magic!! And we’re just getting started,” Keys concluded.
