Tobey Maguire’s daughter is officially a college student.
The Spider-Man actor’s ex Jennifer Meyer shared a series of photos on Instagram on Wednesday, Sept. 3, as she moved their 18-year-old daughter Ruby into college for her freshman year. In one photo, the proud mom could be seen helping her daughter unpack her dorm room, surrounded by bags and boxes.
In another shot, Meyer could be seen crying as she sat in the back of a car after leaving her daughter.
As she rounded up her summer in her caption, the mom of two admitted that leaving her daughter was more emotional than she thought it would be. “Turns out dropping your daughter off at college really makes you cry a lot, but she’s good so now I’m good 😉♥️🫶,” she wrote.

“❤️,” Leslie Mann simply wrote.
Meyer and Maguire share both daughter Ruby and son Otis, 15.
Back in June, the former couple celebrated their daughter Ruby’s graduation from high school. In snaps shared by Meyer, the two posed for a few selfies alongside their graduate.
In one photo, the proud parents smiled brightly on opposite sides of their daughter as she held a bouquet of flowers in her hands. In another shot, Ruby stood in the middle of all of her family.
“Congratulations Ruby!!!!! ♥️ Graduate of our dreams. We are so proud of you in every way. We love love love love love you baby 🥰♥️” Meyer wrote in the caption.
After welcoming his daughter, The Great Gatsby star opened up on The Late Show with David Letterman about how his life changed since becoming a father.
“It’s a very dramatic change,” he said at the time. “My whole life is in transition now with friendships and where I’m gonna live, you know, just your whole perspective.” He continued, “It’s great. She’s so adorable. She’s just a smiley, little, beautiful thing.”
