Some of Alex Morgan’s mom friends don’t know they’re hanging out with a soccer star — but she prefers it that way.

The retired USWNT athlete, 36, appeared on Alex Cooper’s podcast Call Her Daddy and spoke about what her life looks like outside of the soccer world. Morgan, who welcomed her second baby, son Enzo, in March, shared that while she tries to keep up with some of her soccer friends, her time ends up being dominated by her family.

“I do try to keep up with the girls, but it’s not like every day we’re on group texts and texting and stuff,” Morgan admits. “I got kids.”

“I have mom group friends that don’t even know who Alex Morgan is, which I’m so happy with,” she continues. “It’s so nice. I just show up and I’m just like one of the moms.”

This past April, Morgan shared the first few photos of her family of four with PEOPLE. In the adorable snaps, the proud mom of two could be seen posing alongside husband Servando Carrasco, holding baby Enzo in her arms.

The couple’s daughter, Charlie, 5, sweetly rested one arm on her dad’s shoulder, smiling for the camera.

“Adjusting to life as a family of four has been a beautiful whirlwind! Watching Charlie step in the big sis role has been so special — we’re soaking in every second,” Morgan exclusively told PEOPLE at the time.

A month prior, the former professional athlete shared that she and her husband had welcomed their second baby, announcing the happy news with a joint post on Instagram. In the black-and-white photos, the proud parents shared a glimpse at their newborn, with one image showing Enzo’s little feet and another of his hand holding one of his parents’ fingers.

“Soaking it all up right now,” the couple wrote in the caption. “Welcome to the world baby Enzo🩵.”

In January, Morgan spoke with PEOPLE and shared that her daughter Charlie was particularly excited to become an older sibling.

“She wants to kiss my belly every day, say hello to baby brother every morning, say good night to him every night in my belly,” she explained. “She always wants her hand on my belly to feel him, so she does definitely understand, and it’s nice having almost a five-year age gap because I feel like she will be a little more understanding of a situation.”

“She’ll be my little helper when taking care of baby boy,” added Morgan.
