Tom and Kelsey Parker’s son is marking a “massive milestone”!

Kelsey, the widow of The Wanted’s Tom Parker, who died at age 33 in March 2022 following a diagnosis of stage 4 glioblastoma, shared photos of their 4-year-old son Bodhi heading off to “big school” in an Instagram post on Wednesday, Sept. 3.

“My Bodhi boy is off to big school 💙,” Kelsey, 34, wrote in the caption. “What a massive milestone it feels like I’ve had him with me forever. Bodhi has only ever been at nursery three days a week, so Mondays and Fridays have always been our days together, filled with little activities and memories.”

Bodhi was snapped looking adorable as he posed in his school uniform at home. In another photo, Bodhi was seen being embraced by his big sister, Aurelia, 6, who also sported a school uniform.

Kelsey continued, “I’ve always been so protective of Bo … and he’s always had such a gentle soul. And maybe even more so because when I was 35 weeks pregnant with him, Tom was diagnosed. In that dark and scary time, Bodhi became my light. ✨”

The proud mom added that she’s “so proud” of her little boy. “Mummy is really going to miss you, my boy. Go make us proud, Bo 🩵🩵,” she wrote.

Kelsey also said in a message to her “wild child” daughter Aurelia, “Good luck to your teachers, they’re going to need it 😂! You are the most confident, courageous little girl … We love you, girl. Go smash Year 2 — we know you will! ✨”

Kelsey and Tom shared two children together, daughter Aurelia and son Bodhi, before his untimely death in 2022 when Aurelia was 2 and Bodhi was 1.

While speaking about the “devastating” loss on Lorraine on Aug. 7, Kelsey shared that she was “honest” with her kids about the death of their sibling.

“I never wanted them or want them to feel like I’ve not been honest and years later they go, ‘Oh but mom, you didn’t tell me this, and you didn’t tell me that,’ ” she said. “And I don’t like the thought of them being in separate rooms to adults and adults having conversations because kids listen.”

“And obviously, they’ve gone through this before. They’ve lost their dad. They know their dad’s in with the angels now. So we said Phoenix is gone with your daddy,” she added.
