Brad Pitt buys $12M house in Hollywood Hills
Once Upon a Time…in the Hollywood Hills.
Brad Pitt purchased a $12 million Hollywood Hills, Calif., mansion with hopped-up security features and a starry past, The Post confirmed Tuesday.
The charming, Spanish-style abode features six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a pool, a fire pit, a home theater and a vegetable garden.
The “Fight Club” star, 61, bought the 8,385-square-foot property from The Killers’ guitarist, Dave Keuning, and his wife Emilie, according to the Wall Street Journal.
The musician — who snatched up the home in 2021 for nearly $9.6 million from Grindr founder Joel Simkhai — initially listed the estate in June for just under $14 million.
Featuring gorgeous views of downtown Los Angeles to the Pacific Ocean, the renovated manse was originally erected in 1989 and is located in the prestigious Outpost Estates enclave, where other A-list residents include Orlando Bloom and Ben Affleck.
Upon entry, Pitt’s new pad has a beautiful double-height foyer with wood-beam ceilings and arched doorways that create a homey yet elegant feel.
There is also a living room with steel French doors, a farmhouse-style kitchen, several airy sitting rooms and a minimalist office.
The primary bedroom has floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city-to-ocean views, while the en suite bathroom is fit with a black-and-white marble bathtub and coordinating sleek glass standing shower.
People familiar with the deal told The Post that Pitt landed on this particular acquisition due to the house’s ample existing security features after his nearby $5.5 million home was burglarized in June.
“He wanted somewhere that could provide an optimal security system and privacy and this place caught his eye,” a source told The Post. “Long before his home was burglarized, security was always a priority.”
The manor is well-hidden behind lush landscaping and is already pre-wired with a state-of-the-art alarm system. The hand-laid brick motor court is also situated behind a security entry.
The “F1” star’s latest purchase joins his already impressive real estate portfolio.
Along with his recently-ransacked home in Los Feliz, Pitt just sold his other longtime compound in the same neighborhood for $33 million.
He also purchased a clifftop home in Carmel Highlands for $40 million and co-owns the Château Miraval winery in France.
