Per CNN Brasil, paramedics determined Campos was dead at the scene, though Silveira was transported to a hospital, where he gained consciousness after he was in a coma.

“This sadness, this anguish, this horrible feeling of losing someone so close, just like Yago was to me,” Silveira told his followers in Portuguese. “I’m a little traumatized by everything that happened and knowing that a choice we made had such a tragic and sad ending.”
In the video, he goes on to describe what he could remember from their final day together. At around 1 p.m., said Silveira, the pair arrived at their hotel room in Mykonos and had plans to attend a friend’s party later that evening.
They decided to stay in for the afternoon to “enjoy the hotel,” where he claims they “used illegal things.” He continued, “The last memory I have is that I was lying in bed and I simply passed out.”
The next thing Silveira remembers was waking up in a hospital in Athens, where doctors informed him that he had been in a coma, and he later learned that Campos had died.
Campos had thousands of followers on Instagram, where he shared modeling and travel content. In his final post before his death, Campos celebrated his birthday on Aug. 16 with a carousel of photos and videos taken from a yacht.
Per CNN Brasil, Campos was originally born in São Paulo.
The late model’s sister remembered Campos as “a unique human being,” the outlet reported. “My brother wasn’t a prostitute, or a drug addict as people say, my brother was a hard worker, he had dreams and he ran after those dreams,” the grieving sibling wrote on social media.
